My nikka. I don't use Reddit. I've browsed the shyt here n there for info on videogame shyt or somethin. Seemed like a regular forum to me. His aptitude in coaching and motivating his children doesn't take away from the fact that he was a reckless philanderer.

I'm talking about his many infidelities while he was married to Oracene. It was widely known amongst the family, even the kids that he was dikking everything moving but Oracene didn't pursue divorce proceedings until the girls became older and firmly established in the sport.

I would imagine seeing the most important man in your life everyday, who's teaching you the skills to be successful but who's also chronically unfaithful and visibly hurting your mother would leave a good deal of resentment and confusion. Their vision of black men was somewhat twisted from a young age due to this.. Nevermind the fact that they were further trained and surrounded by white men as they grew older and progressed in the sport, that was and is dominated by white folks.
