Imma chime in, I haven't questioned this per se but I have questioned what sense does it make to pray to an all-knowing, God. But the answer I got was humility will you be humble enough to ask for whatever you need in your life?

To me, if you believe that if God is all knowing and believe also in free will, prayer is very important. It ties into faith.

When you pray or even speak, some believe you manifest things into existence.

From a psychological perspective, when you speak, pray etc, you could be conditioning yourself and those around you.

Why do so many faithful dwell on thoughts of damnation. Like 90 percent of y'all conversation is always about getting right for the after life. The people who gave you these ideals lived like glutonous savages all the while telling you to persevere thru suffering (they inflicted) for a blessing upon death but only if you were good. And good often meant a whole lot of passive shyt.

I don't think that god is vengeful or needs to be feared. Take the lessons and live righteous. All that fear is about control and I'd wager it was man's amendment to God's word. Religion served a lot more of man's interests than good. Find spirituality.

Yup they became more invested in controlling the flocks than truly guiding them. So they started bending the word to benefit their plan over God true message.

Yeah, God created life and gave us dominion to hunt, but Kain killed Able; so with your logic God created murder...
