Citizens of Singapore, a country with no minimum wage, are complaining about the increase of foreign workers in recent times impacting their wages. What's the issue with that?
A typical position of White Supremacists (and Chinese Supremacists and others who wish to dominate a particular society) is that they took advantage of a situation and then wish to close the door behind them so no one else can.
One of the classic principles of what it takes to determine a just society is the
Veil of Ignorance. Basically, a just society can only be set by someone impartial, meaning, "Would you set the society up this way if you didn't know what your position in it would be coming in?" People who take advantage of certain rules and then try to keep others from doing the exact same thing they did don't strike me as oriented towards justice.
I've been hearing for at least ten years that Singaporeans
abuse the fukk out of their low-wage workers. Singapore is one of the most unequal income societies in the world, and your class and value and how you are treated is heavily determined by that. That doesn't strike me as the sort of problem that's solved by limiting immigration, just like in the USA the people in power are playing some of the poor people off against other poor people. You actually want to see real justice you have to face the internal issues.
