I can't choose. I like em both for different reasons. They don't sing the same at all. Case was wild disrespectful.

Exactly. Luther is one of the few singers in contention for best vocals of all time, in that Aretha, Whitney class. I LOVE Charlie Wilson but Case doing too much

The two can definitely be compared from a technical point of view.. Both are GOAT male vocalists, but Charlie’s voice was much more dexterous.. he has a huge belting range and his agility/control is off the charts. Great versatility too in terms of manipulating his voice to fit different meters/genres.. In terms of actual vocal pedagogy he edges Luther in pure skill.

On the other hand I believe Luther had a much better timbre/natural tone.. his voice was smooth, rich and velvety. The perfect male balladeer.
Most ppl don’t know the difference between vocal quality (Luther) and vocal prowess (Charlie) and judge strictly on who’s ‘voice’ they like more.
