Myself, and quite a few other people as well as posters here, found her distractingly bad in the few scenes she had in straight outta Compton - go look thru the thread. I watched maybe 5 mins of Aaliyah and she was terrible in that, I don't need a 15 project sample size to determine when someone simply isnt a good actorAaliyah stans just still upset about that movie
