Yeah i see it in my mind. I'm a successful man, muscular, late 30's or early 40's, with a good woman by my side. I'll love her, but i'll never forget my scars and experiences and as a result will always keep her closed off to a certain part of me. I hate the fact that i'm bitter but i can't help it

Yes there is someone out there for me....As blunt and brash as I may be on here I am kind, caring, and considerate person. I believe that there is a man out there what will love me, and wants me to have his last name. I am 99.9% sure that we will end up together before I hit 30. There are a lot of great men out there, so I am not worried.

I mean I don't think all people like that are bitter or have a million walls up. Sometimes you don't even realize you were affected, until you deal with the next person. There are people out there that can't help but be nice giving people no matter what
I consider myself a nice/considerate person and I refuse to let a guy make me lose the positive giving things about myself. At the same time I have no problems cutting people off fast. I'm cautious. It's not about never playing with fire again, its about wearing gloves and testing temps.

This. I think the same goes for women too, those types get snatched up quick. People like givers but they don't necessarily like their giving for intrinsic reasons. And that type of shyt discourages people from being that way which is sad.

@LovelyDay and that's the big question a lot of people have. I would like to believe that there are a lot of secret selfless people but that many are afraid that the other person doesn't even have the potential to be selfless, so they're on guard.I'm sure I could care enough about someone to do the things mentioned. Will it be reciprocated?
