She is telling the truth, so I have no problem with it. A single mother will have less chance at gaining the sort of male she says she desires, compared to a childless female of the same age and attractiveness. It really is just common sense. Does not mean a single mother can't find a good male, but she will have to compete harder for them than one who is childless.
The same holds for males and certain attributes too, but no one has a problem making this clear to males. Preferences are held by both sexes, so a female reminding other females of that fact is perfectly fine to me.
