MA/CT/Nigeria #byrdgang #RingGangRadio
Broken English /Broken Language should have blown up
but terrible video for the song.......one of the best songs I've ever heard

"the Nautica wearer"

That song was too hard for it to crossover even though it was a hit...i remember the radio playing and it had like 5-7 sec of muting over some of the :demonic: bars near the end lol

Agreed. Minus the fake Nate dogg hook.. this shyt had EVERYTHING you would want from a 1st single on a Dre album. "i Need a doctor" was fecal waste.. but i thought kush was pretty decent.

I just imagined Nate Dogg doing the fake Nate part AND doing Akon's part, woulda been blockbuster.

This is why Drake, Eminem, Beyonce and any big super star stay on a major label when everyone else is asking why they don't go independent. MAJOR LABELS CONTROL the market by putting money behind their cash cow on whatever single they put out. You can have the best sonically brilliant song in the world but it does no good if you don't put big money behind it. There's a reason why Drake's "Over" became a hit when any other artist doing a song to that would've been just an album cut. That or 0-100, a NO HOOK song at that became huge over the summer of 2014 and marketed as just a "left over song". They kept pushing it enough till it was FORCED as a HIT. To the fact that it wasn't even a trap beat, just a simple boom bap sample production that if any other rapper from NY of the 00's era got on that (think Fab, Cam, 50) it would've been just an album cut.

Drake was hittin before he got signed though. I wish music would let the fans decide instead of forcing songs down our throat. Those artists have more than enough money to fund their own projects along with doing promo and tour.

DC sound something different but for some reason people weren't receptive to it. Plus you had Gaga who was on the verge of blowing up. It's ashame too cause Gaga is like this mega star and Wale is just.. underrated. Question for the DMV HEADS- did this get a lot of radio play?

Well for the one the song was trash, not even "Pop good" like the song really wasn't a catchy single, just a wasted GaGa feature. Funny thing is, give Eminem the same song with his bars and it's a SMASH hit! The Beyonce feature proves that.
