I live in NYC.

I rent an apartment.

I drive a Maxima from this decade.

I dress like an average Joe.

I save my money.

I like watching my money stack higher in my accounts, I dont really like spending too much.

100k is not much in NYC.... not really ballin... you just living regular, with some savings.

but if I was down south..... I'd be feeling like Ralo or Big Meech probably lol.

She has a new car , I've been driving the same car since 2012.

I have my money going into so much different shyt it's crazy.... between helping my mom( whos a retired RN ) and my sister who just lost her job (and has 6 kids)... and now helping my father (who btw has millions saved but since I keep alot of my clothes and belongings at his house .. I have to give him 100 a week for a "storage" fee.

Savings? I save 600 out of every paycheck and another 300 goes into 401ks/Iran's.

He's Still a CFO but at a different company & different industry in Nassau County making WAYYY less than he did with that other company... riding it out till he retires (he turns 65 in May.. says he wants to work till he can't anymore).

My major money wasters are international vacations and eating out every week.
I save about 5-6K a month after expenses and spending money and contribute the max to my 401K (20K a year) (savings include my wife salary too though)

Yo, I used to live in Chi. I had a 2 bedroom in the West Suburbs on some $1300 shyt. shyt, I coulda got an apartment in downtown Chi for $1100. Chicago is like the best city to ball hard, on a budget. You fukking up, breh

I agree...but without getting into my story...I've been a true fukk up for about the last 4 years. I have a crib in Philly...drove fly ass cars that I totaled...had a few bad bytches, travelled, balled the fukk out...

There's very specific reasons why I'm in another city not building like I should.

Stay determined and you'll be balling hard. Chi is a great city for researchers (which I do). There's so much money to be made. Plus, shyt is cheap compared to NYC/SF/DC. I wish you the best, breh, You can do it

I live in suburban central Nj. Have a 4 bedroom house nice backyard.

I’m laying on the couch watching my 72 inch LG cause I’m off tommorow due to weather.

I’m not balling but the family is comfortable. Trying to get my kids into one of the best private schools in Nj. It’s going to hurt my pockets but it’s worth it for the education.

I do logistics for literally one of the biggest companies in the world. I love what I do as it pays me well (although my company is trash), I get to travel often on the companies dime, and my skills are in demand. If you knew my bonus you would be sick.

I just have been a colossal fukk up as it relates to anything long term. Appreciate the salute however.

Have three properties in my name in Charlotte, had four but sold my uncle's residence in West Charlotte so it could be demolished for new condos a few years ago. Have other investments in Atlanta and D.C.

Haven't exercised in my profession for months but I maintain on residuals from properties. I'm blessed continually but I'm preparing for the stresses once my children come into the picture but I believe we'll manage well.
