I do that was part of the intrigue of the Metal Gear series, while this game's gameplay is fun it feels like I'm just playing a giant Metal Gear practice simulation.

An honest 8.5, was initially a 10

It'd be a 9 if they didn't put all the cutscenes in some audio files.

I actually enjoyed that, I'd put the audio on and just chill back in the crib listening. It was way more entertaining and accessible than the movies

Six month later, what's the verdict?

I think it was an ambitious game held back by last gen platforms(game looks very bland) and time.

8.5/10 :manny:

Seriously it's a weird game. I absolutely enjoyed it but I also hated it in some respects. I can't praise it and not bring up it's flaws imo. Some people the flaws don't matter to them so more power to them but idk.

this... i'd rather them have designed 10-20 levels than do the exact same missions, 90 different times, in the exact same bases and locations...

i'm about halfway through and it's still amazing with graphics and gameplay... but boring as shyt to keep doing the same thing again and again and again..

it's to the point i just see how much shyt a can fukk up... go in with new guns and weapons... and blow up that good old tank squad for the 50th time with new shyt... wash, rinse, repeat

i think i'm just going to blaze through the story and put this shyt up on ebay

it was one of my most anticipated games last year and it didn't meet my expectations in some ways.

I felt that way about Hotline Miami 2 but you don't see me making threads about it every other week.

I think a lot of people underestimated or flat out failed to the understand how much closer this game would be to Peace Walker than the console MGS games.

The thing about the "exact same missions", the side-ops are really just meant for hardcore grinders/completionists. Outside of activating some of the final story missions, none of them (outside of the yellow ones) are required. People might feel they're missing out if they don't do a lot of them, but the side ops are really only there to gather resources and staff members to expand your arsenal and base. If you grow tired of doing them, you can just stop doing them for a while and focus on the story missions.

The last thread I made about this game was in November of last year. The hell you talking about?
