Nerlens is kind of frail to play the 5 and likely can't bulk up to 260 to guard big bodies, so I can see the logic in doing the trade. Still a rebuilding team like the Pelicans should of just kept their pick, so you have a point as well.

With that said, Philly should lose a future pick or two because of that, a team unknowingly gave up a top ten pick for a injured player.
