I agree they're still a ways off, but I like the pieces they have and they're young so they have plenty of time to grow together plus they'll have roughly $30 mil in cap space next year to add to the core they already have. I don't know enough about Skiles as a coach, but I def think they have a bright future.

They're one of the most legendary NBA franchises if they even attempted to move before they got to Seattle another franchise would move right into Philly and take over the 76ers brand.

what the fukk are they supposed to do honestly? no free agents want to sign there (players are prioritizing winning over money these days i.e. david west, whiteside this summer when he doesnt go to LA). They could attempt to be good but that only ruins their chances at a top pick
You can argue that not losing enough ruined their chances at a franchise player (KAT, t'wolves had worst record that year, sixers had 3rd worst) ...embiid is unfortunate, but he was supposed to be the franchise player to build around
