I was confusing it with Rise to the Occasion since they came out within a year of each other.

Black woman and child is still his best work.

Yeah Rise was a bit:mindblown:, very unnatural sounding to me, and that was the start of his "slackness" and weird phase, which really was just bad. Haven't really listened to him since then really.

but you can't argue this song isn't one of the greatest musical compositions of all time!
