His music was therapy for life...especially black pain.

Other rappers kick knowledge and all that kind of shyt, but Pac was the most cathartic IMO.Breh was just so practical and in tune with society. That's what I liked about Pac.His music was more testimonial than it was "kicking knowledge".As I said before, he was extraordinary at being ordinary. That was his gift. While everybody's brainstorming, trying to come up with the dopest "lyrical miracle metaphorical" rhyme, Pac was like what about our basic humanity? what about Brenda?...Latasha? ....Yummy? One of the most humane artist of all time.I'd even argue the most practical/"real"......when I say "real", I don't mean the most gangsta/hardest nicca of all time.Just saying he told you like it is.He wasn't afraid to speak his truth. What rapper would tell you their moms was a crackhead before Pac? He knew that would give hope to millions of kids in that situation.....Pac was wayyyy beyond these niccaz, man:wow:

Is there a song more relevant than this right now?

:mjcry:

I swear I was playing I Wonder If Heaven Got a Ghetto and Hell Razor over and over a few weeks ago when all the chaos was going on. It's crazy that no artist since him has been able to put their finger on the pulse of the black american experience 20 years later. It's also extremely sad that the stuff that was prevalent during his life are still here and even worse.

"Ask Rodney, LaTasha, & many more. It's been going on for years, there's plenty more..."

Just change the names to the current ones and it hits the same or even worse. :mjcry::wow:

Dangerous and ambitious, while schemin on gettin riches
I'm spittin at tricks cause I'm addicted to pretty bytches
Currency motivated, not easily terminated
Now that we made it, my nikkas can never be faded

I see you stanning Pac lately bruh :blessed:

The Streetz R Deathrow is another underrated cut from his earlier albums.

Definitely bro

Days of a criminal is a personal classic too and I never hear anyone mention it either

"It's the menace of Marin" .. Hearing those lyrics really feels like that's where it all began for Pac and even back then the lyrics was legendary :ohlawd:

These are the tales for my nikkas doin time in the cell
I went from hell, to livin well
Busting at nikkas who said my name in vain
I got no time for them tricks, I'm heavy in the game
I wanna be a baller, please
But the bytches and the liquor keep on calling me
I'm tokin' free on the highway, formulatin plans
Can't wait til I see L.A., cause it's so scandalous

I love this track

As well as

When I first copped UTEOT, I'd keep that track^^^ on repeat for hours at a time

Is it just me, but does Pac just become increasingly profound the more you listen to him.I might go on a hiatus every once in a while, but I always come back to his music. And I'm a lil more amazed every time. The ore I learn, it's like DAMN:wow:
