I'm aware that the title may seem like a feminine topic to discuss, if you feel this way just look in the mirror at your skin, pay close attention to the skin of those around you or both and you will realize it is definatly not.
Our skin gives indications of our health, so if your skin has issues (bumps, blemishes, whatever) chances are there is something you need to correct in your lifestyle.
At one point in my life i used to drink mad sodas, 7-11 big gulps, horriable food and little to no water. My forehead used to stay with bumps on it which i didn't pay much attention too, I just figured I needed some sort of medication. My lifestyle is very different today, wheras (outside of freshly squeezed OJ from time to time and a cup of lemon water in the morning) the only thing i drink is Electrolyte infused water (I.E. Smart water, etc.) and my skin and health are really good. I also have a strict diet but I won't discuss that in this thread.
After I addressed the internal aspects of what was negatively affecting my skin I naturally turned my focus on the external things that were doing damage to it. One of the most important things i found necessary to fix was the water I put my body in every day. If you live in a major city you HAVE to get a GOOD water filter for your shower head ASAP. The water coming out of those shower heads is poisnous to our bodies.
Once you address the water issue you should find a good NATURAL soap to use on your body. If your soap has ingrediants that you can't pronouce and know they can't be found in nature find a new soap, it is no good for your skin. African Black soaps typically are good all natural soaps that are good for your skin but there are others as well.
For skin moisterizers it's the same principal as the soap, it should be all natural and if it has ingrediants that you can't pronouce and know they can't be found in nature
. Vaseline is not good for your skin. Extra Virgin Olive Oil may be the best skin moisterizer ever created. It moisterizes your skin without leaving you feeling greesy (I.E. Vaseline) and doesn't damage your clothing. If you aren't a fan of the smell you can always mix it with other NATURAL oils like Coconut Oil which has a smell that no one in their right mind doesn't like.
I'll leave it at this for now, speak on it.
