You skinny nikkas need calories. Start counting your daily calories. Eat foods like oats, bread, peanut butter. Buy a blender.
Why do u dumb nikkas say shyt like this. nikka were grown asss man, we know what we eat, we still dont gain weight u fuccn idiot why cant yall comprehend that. I literally had a 2 month span where all i did was eat, and lay down all day on the computer and didnt gain one pound

I don't miss dunks when I'm at the rec or in a high school gym. I'm talking about those raggady double rims at the park that are way too high :russ: I can jump and grab rim but when I actually try to dunk the ball other slips out my hands or I miss it.

I feel when I put on weight my all around game will come around and it'll be easier for me to work on my weaknesses. Until I actually do it though me saying this is pretty irrelevant. I'll keep this thread bookmarked a lot of good tips and realistic options.

I'm gonna let you respond after this and get the last word, but I will just say you are moving the goalposts a bit here. We were talking about what is required to gain weight. Not having an appetite is a whole new predicament.

Its still not an excuse though. There are 3 solutions:

1) if you cant eat a lot at once, eat smaller meals more frequently. 6 meals of 600 calories is enough for a hardgainer to increase weight

2) eat more calorie dense foods. 600 calories at once is easy as fukk with stuff like peanuts, granola bars, peanut butter, olive oil, butter, cereal, etc.

3) drink liquid calories. Whole milk if you are tolerant to lactose. Something else if you arent

Point blank, a hardgainer has to just suck it up if they truly want to gain weight, and they can do it. They wont gain weight eating chicken and oatmeal. Gotta find another way to pack in those calories.

Even broke people can find the calories if they are smart shoppers

I'd be more specific. drinking soda and juice won't help a thing. all the gains will be temporary.

First of all, if you have no discipline, don't like lifting heavy objects, and don't cook your own meals... you'll stay skinny:birdman:

If you're serious about making gains, proceed.

1. Get a gym membership
- go 3-5 days a week and plan your routine according to how often you go
- only do compound movements
- no cardio
- work out no longer than 60 minutes

Compound movements:
Chest: Incline bench press, decline bench press, flat bench press, dips, (add in shoulder press and shrugs) (3 sets each 8-12 reps)

Back: pull ups, cable rows, lat pull downs, bent over rows, barbell rows, T Bar rows
(3 sets each 8-12 reps)

Legs: squats, leg press, lunges, dead lifts, (add in a calf exercise) (3 sets, 15-20 reps)

Food:
Focus on the macros (carbs, proteins, fats) and buy calorie dense foods like:
Chicken breasts, boneless/skinless thighs, salmon, tuna, tilapia, whole milk, peanut butter, avocado, black beans, olive or coconut oil, eggs, bananas, brown rice, sweet potatoes, almonds, cottage cheese, oatmeal

When you buy groceries always get these things. You need to get around 3000 calories a day. For me it's hard to eat that much so my smoothie blender comes in handy. Two smoothies a day is two meals. I have breakfast, lunch, dinner, and two snacks (protein bar/almonds w/raisins).

I agree with most of your post. it's one way of doing things. I wish people would stop being vague about calories though. Just as important as calorie dense is nutrient dense foods high in calories. empty calories don't make for lasting gains.
I've never been more than a 158lbs.

When you fast food for brek lunch and dinner for a week and don't even gain a pound.

I'm fine with my weight, I'd love to be 165lbs but meh

:snoop: you never will like this. Trust. I used to eat the stoufers family sized lasagna and soda for dinner then have a family sized cobbler for desert. No gains. I'd eat fast food because a big mac meal has 2000 calories in it. No gains. I'd drink weight gainer 3000 (i think that was the name. came in a big bag) had some success with that but it cost a lot. Not until I stopped eating tons of sugar and nutrientless grains (not saying all are nutrientless) did I make gains. I lost weight before I gained it back but what I gained I kept.
