I think QoS was such a major disappoint to most people that Skyfall's success is that people wanted a good Bond movie again similar to Casino Royale. To some people the movie delivered and to others it didn't. Craig signed on to do another 2 movies hopefully they are solid movies as well like CR & SF and not like QoS.

man, I just watched the Pierce Brosnan James Bond series last night and the those joints were compared to the Daniel Craig Bonds. I could barely make it through the last one with Halle Berry junk was terrible watching it again

I felt the same way as you. I HATED Quantum Of Solace, and was apprehensive about checking this one out. But Skyfall was great, when I left the theater I couldn't wait to see the next one.

I feel you but you should check out Skyfall before you write it off. The movie is definitely way better than QoS imo.

I was dozing off during it, but I had just went out for dinner and caught a 10 o'clock show.

But I liked it. Wasn't better than CR like most of my friends were telling me, but without a doubt better than QoS.

your post said the name is why its raked in almost $1 billion (despite no other Bond movie ever getting close to this number). I pointed out that Quantom of Silence made less than Casino Royale, which disproved your assertion.


And yes, Skyfall is a great movie. Its not a typical Bond movie which is probably why a lot of you dont like it.
