:russ: I'm not laughing at you, I'm laughing "with " you. I had the 360 version originally but copped the PC version s few years later. And trust when I tell you the mods were more than worth it. But unless you didn't finish it I don't blame you

I got this for free on PC...

I forgot I bough this game for like $20 with all the DLC on a sale a few years ago...

Not sure if I'm going to bother installing it...

it's 64bit and dx11 now, so it should be a stronger foundation for mods

most people played it on last gen consoles. it looked like dookie on both, and had performance issues on the PS3. this version looks and runs much better, plus both the PS4 and X1 have mod support

and it's a big game, with plenty of different races, classes, factions, DLC's, etc. you'd have to play for a long time to see 'everything' in Skyrim

Totally forgot about console mod support. If consoles could only get a script extender though I'd hop on this with the quickness

Skyrim Special Edition 1.1.51 Steam Beta

Skyrim Special Edition 1.1.51 Update (PC Specific Changes)

Fixes

  • General performance and optimization improvements
  • Fixed rare issue with NPCs not appearing in proper locations
  • Fixed issue with saves erroneously being marked as Modded, even though no mods are active
  • Updated some sound files to not use compression

How to access the Steam Beta

  • Log into Steam.
  • Right Click on The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition in your Library.
  • Select Settings.
  • Select Betas.
  • A drop down menu will appear. Select Beta.
  • Select OK.
  • Wait a few minutes and Skyrim Special Edition should update.
  • When done, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition should appear as The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition [Beta] in your Library.

I paid $60, well traded in some stuff and paid more like $25, but still regret it.

It looks good and all, but its' the same exact game and I already seen it was half the price on black friday deals and stuff, so i`m sure it`ll be at a much lower price point soon enough.
