Kinda sounds like Sky was goin for a TPAB type sound (Theme) with this album......You can definitely tell he was tryin to go in one certain direction with the album before his back injury and he had **throat surgery.

**Skyzoo had a polyp remove from his throat back in July 2020, if you listen to Milestone and The Bluest Note, Sky's vocals were raspy, you can definitely tell on "Soft Eyes" that was pre-Surgery Skyzoo.

Skyzoo is one of the best rappers to debut in the 2000's.

And I fully stand by that comment.

Honestly, I'd say he's been messing with incorporating Jazz as early as "A Dream Deferred".

TPAB was/is definitely an influential album but I think Sky as well as the producers he messes with have been
trying to keep the banging beats but incorporating but R&B/Jazz in a way that isn't hokey or overplayed.

I'd say The Great Debater.....But overall Sky has always been heavy on jazz he always post jazz records he blazes each Sunday on his IG page.

Main reason I felt the need to make the connection because a while back he posted Solange - A Seat A The Table was the inspiration for In Celebration Of Us.
I get the same vibe from TPAB with this album.

Only time will tell when he make his one year anniversary post for this album.
