He doesn't have a big focus on word play and double meanings
like Lupe and Skyzoo but he can definitely hang with the best of them.
They all have their own styles in flowing, writing and subject matter but I'd say they're all at or near the same level as far as straight emceeing is concerned.
The lyrics for example on "MaaD City" are damned impressive.
The way he connects all the themes he's explored before the
climax is really dope.

One thing that I think that Kendrick has over the other two is the fact that he's a bit more versatile in terms of how he performs his songs. The different flows, voices and his delivery makes him more of an interesting listen than the other two.

anyway, is that even a studio song? something about his voice or flow just doesn't do it for me. he crams in words, and just doesn't rhyme a lot. overall it sounds 'amateurish' to me. that isn't something that has to do with the sound quality, or whatever, but rather how it just seems thrown together, and doesn't really 'work' (as opposed to something that's "thrown together" and is actually dope)
that shyt's alright. overall I find that song, and Lupe in general, kinda condescending. it's both his style, and the way he delivers his message. I honestly 'try' to like his shyt, but he just rubs me the wrong way
