When I say "hardly anyone talked about it", I mean outside of that specific thread.
It didn't get much mentions as a potential AOTY despite IMO being right up there
with GKMC and Life Is Good.

I'm still not over how perfect an album a dream deferred is. I'll take it

I like it. It's not one of my favorites of his but it's cool. I'm not a big fan of tributes or cover albums but he did it justice. As far the tribute albums go Elmatic is my favorite followed by this then Ode To Illmatic.

I need to hear this album. as i never got around to peeping cause of the same thing in which you speak of.

Damn, guess I'm in the minority. As much as I love A Dream Deferred, The Great Debater is Sky's best work to me. He's arguably the most consistent MC out right now though. He's never put out anything even remotely mediocre.

This is my shyt right here. Whenever I'm looking for something to listen to, and scroll past his name, I ALWAYS listen to this song. He's got a knack for starting his albums/tapes off with some heat. No exception here.

I need to hear this album. as i never got around to peeping cause of the same thing in which you speak of.

It's definitely worth a listen. It doesn't have the same replay value that most of his other stuff does but I'm sure there's joints on there you will like. This thread is actually making me want to give it another listen.
