On the surface, yes.I mean no shyt![]()
The media's entitlement like people owe you a peak into their personal lives is and always was trash.

I dont think its personally wrong with Jordan being a shallow nikka that was only about ball, it worked for him.
I think what this article does (and the references to the 2004 MJ book) is somewhat confirm what Ken Burns was trying to say when he criticized the documentary process.Yep. But I also think white people expect talented black people to be of service to them. To ways have that aura of humbleness.
I always see comments by cacs about Michael Jackson being such a "gentle, humble guy" and that he was so "nice and humble" etc etc.
Same thing with Denzel Washington, cacs stay saying that he is kind of an a$$hole.
If black people are not of complete servitude to white folks and "hUmbLe" then we are demonized and a horrible person.
I'm not saying that Michael Jordan is a good person. I have never met him so I will never know that per se.
But I think a lot of white folks obsession with his personality is because he isn't the grateful negro they want him to be.
Also: that whole Katie couric nonsense with denzel Washington made me think of how many times I was hostile towards white folks b/c they irked me and how many of them hold on and remember those situations till this day. Probably plenty
I know that's not what the article was talking about. But I noticed this about any black icon.
Joe Johnson? Yeah, you don't know shyt about Basketball. That nikka was a fukking worker. I knew that nikkas regimen, it wasn't LeBron but it was as advanced as any star or superstar in the league. Thecoli got too many low IQ Basketball fans. Between RealGM and this shytshow, ya'll make me realize the average Basketball fan doesn't need to have an opinion at all.I don't think that's shallow at all.
In fact his pursuit and desire for greatness in basketball is very deep.
Shallow would be to be accepting but not maximizing talent he had and lollygag through his entire NBA career ala Joe Johnson
No Jordan understand the very purpose of human existence
Maximize your god given worth
If Michael Jordan was Jim Jones, the vast majority of this board would drink the Kool Aid.
Chappelle was right.
People worship celebrities.
It is clear that the people commenting about Jordan's private life only read the first few lines of the article.
