Can't believe this is really happening :blessed:Been waiting 25 years :mjcry:
The fact that we're all highly anticipating an album from a 60.year old who hasn't dropped in a quarter of a century speaks volumes about the caliber of emcee he is and is a great illustration that no matter what the current rap fad is there will always be a space for hip hop albums that still have their roots attached.

All we need. Older artists just have to avoid trash beats.

CRUMBS:hhh:

Its true, the Grand Puba album that dropped recently wasn't forgettable because of the rhymes, it's because the sonic backdrop sounded like someone prompted a beta version of AI to "make boom bap beats"

Theres a lot of golden era producers that are still making dope bears that I'd love to hear Slick Rick on...E Sermon, Pete Rock Large Pro, Quik I think could chef up some customized heat for The Ruler. Dre with the right co producers creating the foundation could be epic but it would never come out.

All I know is I dont want Swizz Beats overrated ear cancer on this or RZA who's beats lost the plot more than 2 decades ago imo.

Trying not to get too hyped and just enjoy whatever we get, but can’t help but think this is gonna be flames.

His rhymes, stories and imagery were ahead of their time in 1988 and still sound great today :wow:
