Have to say I'm quite disappointed with the release of this album.

Marketed as a visual album, so naturally there was speculation on what that would mean for an audio relase. Looking likely it's extremely similar in length. I've had the album nearly 2 days at this point and held off listening waiting for the film that was supposed to be a 'same day release'.

It's marketed as a visual album so obviously I wanted to experience it the proper way it was created. But that's not been possible. It's really killed my buzz for it to be honest. I know I'll enjoy it but I cant deny that the anticipation is just gone now. I'll see it when I see it.

You take a long ass break between albums I'm not obligated to be excited. I checked it out because it's Rick and it's not for me.

Then bro you never could’ve been a true fan in the first place, there’s no timescale on a legend releasing new music, his fans will always welcome it with open arms. Maybe I’m wrong but that’s how I see it

nikka, I don’t need visuals for the fukkin music to be good. My ears aren’t telling me something my eyes will change my mind about later. It’s not good. It’s cool to see Rick still in the booth but nothing on this album even touching “I Own America Pt. 1 or 2,” Street Taking,” or “Impress the Kid.”

My thing with this album after a whole day, is up until recently we had no clue he was even dropping

Therefore I won't suddenly feel entitled to some shyt

What he chose to release is very barebones yes - that was initially disappointing

But everything on the album is very good IMO. The visuals will only bolster that by the looks of it

I don't owe any artist my loyalty and I'm not a fanatic of anyone. If they release something I like I'll support it. If I don't like it I'll keep it moving. I said this album wasn't for me and left it at that. I'm not spamming the thread with my opinion so what I think shouldn't effect your enjoyment.

If it’s a visual album then they should’ve released the visuals with it. Either way, that shyt could have instructions on living longer and it still won’t make up for the fact that the music isn’t good. You nikkas sounding like Beyoncé fans with this “wait for the visuals” shyt.
