And yes, in Hip Hop "Keeping it Real" generally has different forms.
You can be a rapper who exaggerates and writes a lot of fantasy but you can say something that people can relate to and thus it's something "Real".
Or you can literally "Live what you rap about" and be real, because not all rappers are "Gangster Rappers".

But y'all want to push an agenda that "Hip Hop = Gangster Rap", it's a flawed stance without any nuance.

King Louie is nice
He has a good sense of humor and if it really came to it, he can spit but because
of the brand of Hip Hop he makes he's disregarded. Slim jesus is really only popular
because his video is meme worthy and a lot of people want to satisfy their
side
