Thats the song that made me peep the album.

I remember it clear as day. Was in 10th grade and we on the bus to our end of year field trip with like 20 other schools to magic mountain. Some filipino dude was listening to that album while bobbing his head. Im like, what u listening to? And he showed me the CD. I looked at him like because his corny ass My Name Is song turned me off and thought the whole CD was like that. Anyways, dude let me peep it and it just so happen that track started playing. I was like


Sadly, only that album and mmlp the only two i fukked with. Eminem show was ok and the rest of it is history when his major fall off.

The bootleg version of murder murder with 2pacs sample was dope.




Come to think of it, the drums in this sound very similar to the Toy Soldiers song he sampled in his later album

Why didn’t that lame Em put Murder Murder on here? Or tracks from the EP

Anyways I ran this version back this past week. Still holds up as his best album or at least my favorite. Even the singles were dope. This album is dark and raw yet funny and creative. My Fault, As The World Turns and Brain Damage are zany comedic storytelling raps. If I Had and Rock Bottom are motivational stuck in the grind tracks that feel authentic and relatable. Then it’s Em just going in killing it raps on Role Model, Bad Meets Evil, Still Don’t Give a fukk, Just Don’t Give a fukk. Def rekindle the love I had for this way back before he really blew.

Still fukk whomever is on Ems team and decided to not put those acapella freestyles over the classic dre beats which became the standard version. Leaving off Murder Murder and EP tracks was stupidity. God I hate Ems team.

Personal favorite from dude. My granddad bought the tape for me and my brother and he drove us around town listening and crying laughing at the absurdity of the lyrics. He seemed so much more relaxed and comfortable in his skin, just having fun. I feel the overall fun of making the music is what was missing in the later albums, after MMLP.
