Imagine Claude having to work under Jackson in Slough House - the combination of Lamb, Claude and Roddy would’ve been ultimate fukkery

Every now and then I start to think "He's too good for this place. This is his journey of redemption..." then this show reminds me they're all bums
At the end of Season 3 when he outsmarted his Grandad and kept a copy of the "Footprint" file, I thought:
"Ok River is getting it now. He's finally being thoughtful and strategic. We're going to see a new River in Season 4
"And then he went right back to being his dumbass self

Incredible show, and yeah, I know it's one of Apple's tentpoles/pillars, but still salute to them for keeping this shyt going because it's way too easy for streaming platforms to cancel ongoing popular shows once the number of "new" subscriber they can attract has peaked/matured

River spent the whole season being useless and outperformed by everyone in Slough House, does one thing semi-right at the end and got the gall to talk about "I'm too fukking good, and you know it"

Will be interesting to see how I feel about each season on a rewatch, but I suspect S2 is still the weakest for me, maybe along with S4.
