Ain't feeling that latest episode and how it unraveled with River. One of the very few times this series has dropped the ball.

I wish they’d dropped two episodes every week. shyt is crack. But I hated how dumb River was last episode. Like that shyt would have clicked in two seconds for any field agent - as soon as she popped up

why did they tie River up instead of offing him?
Also, I know she was leaving her belongings for her family to find but leaving her phone on??? Wtf
Questionable moments - especially because the writing has been generally tight but River going full dumb last episode and now this - ehhhh

Well, that was a pretty uneventful season. A major step down from the first.
The whole Russian sleeper agent is such a tired trope and they didn't do anything to elevate it. Besides Harper, the stakes weren't high enough where you felt anyone was in real danger, and the narrative didn't do enough to balance it out. It almost felt like it was an interval between Season 1 and what hopes to be the third.
