Sly and the Family Stone appreciation thread

Sly and the Family Stone is one of my favorite groups ever. They released some amazing music and were so influential on music.





They had songs for every mood.

Unfortunately, Sly's drug addiction fukked him over and he was never really the same after the mid 70s (even by the 71 he had drug issues that were affecting his career). It's a goddamn shame.

The documentary coincides with another film Questlove is involved in, one on the 'Godfather of Soul' James Brown.
