Feel bad for Prep. Some of this dude's material is insane but the clarity and projection just isn't where it needs to be for the main stage. John John is excellent in those categories.

On first watch I got Saga 2-1...he got the 2nd and 3rd. Both of em' did they thing tho.

The crowd was gassin some of the material from both sides, quite a few times nyggas wouldn't shut the fukk up and let them rap. That's my only negative comment. That should NOT be happening in blackstar EVER....save that bullshyt for big stage battles

Saga wasn't cooking until the third, which was a fire round but this was NOT a classic battle. Prep did a little too much of that word stretching so I can see why people said he lost.

Nice to see them freestyling. I don't recall The Saga freestyling before. This was definitely a good look for them. Props to both. Ish was good.
