^^^^I stopped watching when he said DNA won the first round.
i mean yeah I disagree completely with his review but at least he gave a reason that didn't have me like :what:
He just felt chilla rapped too long which I can't argue with. But at the same time there clearly wasn't a strict time limit and conceited did that shyt to surf and no one complained so at the same time I'm like..:comeon:

I just don't see how a nikka that preaches bars over everything can rationalize DNA winning round 1. The only round I could see people giving DNA is round 2.. that's what I did after the first few listens. That's because DNA had some shyt and Chilla rapped way too long.. and I didn't pick up most of his shyt that round.

But how can you say DNA won the 1st round? :what:
And in the third this corny nikka got booed.

w/e DNA is still one of the corniest and wackest top tier dudes ever.

I completely agree. First round isn't even really close to me.

I didn't care for this battle, but Chilla clearly one. Just cause nikkas can't understand your bars doesn't mean it's bad. Chilla was dragging his shyt out though all stiff nshyt :what:

I respect how thought out his review is, even if I don't agree.Initially I had DNA winning the second myself, but I thought Chilla got the first and the third easy. Jay was right though, Chilla's rounds were really bloated; but I feel like alot of the bloat is coming from his constant pauses, and regardless of what complaints people have with his delivery,I think the pauses are kinda necessary to help proccess the shyt he's saying by putting emphasis on certain phrases, and giving people that brief second to think so they don't get too hung up before he goes to the next bar. But those pauses are a double edge sword because that's where he's losing nikkas at too, and it's making his performance and flow seem kind of off. To Jay's point, Chilla did have a few schemes that he could've done without because they were just average, like the hair scheme in the second, and that Eric Clapton shyt in the first, but I don't think he had too many moments like that. I think the bigger issue with the constant schemes, is that when you get so many of them in succession, you just kind of get tired of them, even if the bars are on point-and I admit that I got to that point in the third ( but I still gave it to Chilla because DNA was just weak that round). I kind of get that same feeling regarding punches when I watch Conceited sometimes, and I got that feeling when I was watching Surf's second against Hollow the Don, you got to mix some shyt in so mental fatigue doesn't kick in, and so I don't know what to expect; catch me off guard with some shyt to keep my attention and get even more of a reaction out of me. So with that said, I do think Chilla would've been better off with a few more punches, rebuttals, and personals mixed in( I don't see him doing humor all that well though, so he should stay away from that) just to break up the monotony.

In the end, Chilla just had too many :whew: moments to me ( the make up, spanish, monster, and bodily fluid scheme to name some :damn:), and although DNA showed up with two good rounds, I still think it's a 3-0 batlle in Chilla's favor-with the second being very debatable-in spite of his flaws.

the only person i've seen in a while to perfectly mix bars and schemes was JC when he went against chilla :ohlawd: most nikkas just pick one or the other and space em out with filler :scusthov:
