Yes of course it happens. But if we’re taking two people and assuming they have equal or even relative fighting ability or experience, then being heavier means everything. ESPECIALLY if you’re talking about Twork LITERALLY weighing more than twice what Nitty weighs. In that scenario the smaller guy knocks out the bigger guy at the clip of “Well, yeah, I guess anything CAN happen.” :stopitslime:
EXACTLY. Thank you.

Aight, watched them all. Here's a recap.

Rum Nitty vs. Nu Jersey Twork - Yep, on its way to being a classic then the fatal mistake on both ends fukked it all the way up. Sucks because NJT was damn good in this battle as well. And Rum was just in his bag. By default, 2-1 NJT but I'm glad him and Rum squashed the shyt. Plus, Rum's reasoning was understandable.

O Red vs. Iron Solomon - The jean jacket shyt towards the end was hilarious. Glad that even though there was tension, Red and Iron made it somewhat light hearted. May have to watch this again for a winner because I know I gave them each a round but I was undecided on one of the rounds. Red had some pretty good bars as far as Jews go and Iron bodied the translation shyt.

K Shine vs. Geechi Gotti - Hype battle. I could see people going for K-Shine on the 2-1 tip but I personally think Geechi just had some pretty entertaining moments where if it wasn't funny, it was serious or something else but everything just landed. Shine was in his bag all three rounds and I thought it was dope how he showed respect to Geechi in the lines he fukked with. Good battle. I'm going with Geechi, 2-1 on this one.

DNA vs. Mickey Factz - Talk about a battle important for future narratives, wow. The bloggers got it wrong with this I feel except for 3Letterman in his PSA blog from what I have seen. Did DNA snap all three rounds? Yes and he did change it up some which I appreciated. Now, with Mickey...Lux mannerisms aside which he had more so in the first round...he pulled a pretty slick move on DNA. DNA had the punches that hit more but Mickey's angles? Bruh, DNA mentioning his connections to URL in the battle and Mickey somewhat undercutting some of it with some points was not what I was expecting. So far, I got Mickey 2-1 but I cannot take away from what DNA did.

Mr. Wavy vs. Brizz Rawsteen - Maaaaaaan, Brizz was on one. Wavy was good but had beatable rounds and then in the third, he choked on his last few lines. And this also reminded how good Brizz can be in the smaller rooms, too. Dude just knows how to make his performance even with his pen and be sharp in his battles. 3-0 Brizz no body.

JC vs. Ave - I heard this was a body and I didn't see that. And honestly, performance wise...somewhat low energy but still the pens were on point. Ave had the jab-jab-punch style right while JC gave you a big set up and then landed the nice haymaker or two which was keeping the battle even. I think I have it JC, 2-1 because the haymakers landed more and the in between lines he would kick, we crazy. Ave was dope and got more reaction tho.

Loso vs. Chef Trez - It is safe to say that Trez did break the Al Capone curse. Just like Brizz, it seems like he can shine well in the small rooms. And Lost was not slacking by any stretch; dude catches hate but I respect his consistency. I'm gonna edge this to Loso 2-1...think that 3rd hit harder than Trez's material from what I am seeing. But I am not mad at someone having Trez 2-1. Nice grudge battle.

Overall: This event had more presence of gangs than before than I recall. I don't mind it but its crazy much more blatant it was this time especially with a few battles having it mentioned a lot more than I thought it would have been. I think this was a good battle event to end the year on and it lived up to the hype with the matchups. My favorite performance might have either been Brizz or Geechi. I think it was worth the PPV.

He's also friends with Geechie

There's definitely a coastal war brewing in battle rap between East vs. West. They really need to throw an event in a mutual place
bring it to chicago :blessed:

naw, im from the chi, i cant front, houston would be the perfect spot for a east vs west event. they crowd is lit and unbiased

my overall recap

t top vs daylyt, i dont like judging 1 round battles, so i will say i enjoyed t top material more than daylyt, although daylyt came to rap and not goof around.

chef trez vs loso= trez with a body. loso is beginning to sound like a guy who was on the corner passing out watchtowers then when he approaches you he says can i have 9 minutes of your time brother and starts battle rapping while he handing you a brochure. he really needs to add another element to his arsenal. trez was TALKING to loso. def in his bag

jc vs ave =ave won 2-1 but its debatable. jc just took too long to land his haymakers, another mistake he made, he brought his big stage performance to a small room. that is why he 0-2 in the smack volume series. when he in the small room he needs to go back to jc , chilla jc, fast paced shot shot shot etc. do the slow it down every line performing thing on the big stage.

brizz vs wavy, = brizz smoked wavy, nuff said

dna vs mickey factz= gas aside this was a good battle. after watching it twice, im leaning factz 2-1 1st and 2nd rd. dna clearly got the 3rd. i think all the dna bagged factz talk is going to hurt dna when the footage officially releases. and all the gas is going to hurt him as well. as i said last night, k shine might have lost that battle for him, shine and jaz face.

geechi vs shine = i got geechie 2-1 gave shine the 1st, again that gas is going to hurt shine on the official release and his twork impersonation is going to hurt him as well. geechie def got rds 2 and 3 imo

red vs iron. i just didnt like iron in this battle and was expecting more out of him. i might still give iron the 3rd, but red def got the 1st 2 imo.

as far as rum vs twork, im not really calling it, because its choosing someone by default. it was a classic in the making and some fukkery screwed it up. its a bit of blame for both, nitty should put dont say family names in the contract, twork clicking up and now he got this heart to bully and its corny. suge needs to do that because suge has no bars, twork can actually spit so all the extra shyt takes away from that. who the hell is twork trying to prove something to? smh

Off first watch, I think Geechie clearly beat Shine and I’m a Shine fan. At least 2-1.

I pretty much agree, only thing is I don't think Twork cliquing up is the reason he's being that aggressive, I think he always does that when his opponents are tiny lmao. The flagging in Nitty's face shyt was OD extra. He could've just did like B Magic when he battled QP and just pulled it out, he put it on his face. That's really disrespectful.

Rewatching it for the THIRD time. The stumbling is crazy, Shine's first two rounds were a little gassed only because they were hating on Gotti's dope bars.

I like Geechi's third, the other two rounds are so close. Not sure the time limit but I think Shine went way longer in those rounds.
