His SM5 match his one last push to give T-Top main stage cred. I think URL really likes T-Top the SM5 is more of a nod to him than Rex. Rex is basically just fodder that will battle for a quick check. He's not selling a single ticket at this point and his value is reflected in that

This battle is ass by the way. I like the tension but besides that's its just fugazi.

why did it take so long to announce the damn summer madness card if it was already booked? and are you telling me a k-shine/dna vs chess/steams rematch was booked before redemption? sh1t aint planned out that far ahead.

and also, dunno if you heard the smack hot 97 interview. but him and beasley were saying after NOME 5 they tried to book tsu surf for summer madness. surf said he wasn't interested. a few weeks later, surf hit them up that he wanted to be on the card but by that point they had booked other battlers (read: lux) and they weren't able to pay surf enough.

so this is idea that cards are booked way ahead of time, before other cards - i'm not buying it.
