Danny is chasing an imaginary title. It's admirable, but a complete waste of time in this era.

He's talking about "I just beat Rex, I got Clips coming up." I don't think he understands that beating those 2 don't mean anything. We are talking about 2 guys that just battle for a check.

Now if Clips goes on some streak killing nyggas, then that would make it a more meaningful win, but as it stands now, it doesn't do shyt for him.

We are at the point where there's maybe a handful of guys out there that would be meaningful wins.

Guys like Mook, Lux, Hollow
Guys that take their craft seriously & always consistent (Tay Rock)
Guys on a streak (Danja)

OR certain battles because of the history makes the win meaningful like a Suge/Hitman, Verb/Lux,Math/Mook, etc

Battling guys like Rex & Clips is fine if your looking for popularity & to build your brand, but that's not what Danny is doing here. He's trying to become the battle rap champion of the world.

He is doing what makes him happy.

To any truly skilled artists/entertainers/athlete... being elite in their craft is important regardless of outside opinion as to how much it matters.

Im not a big myers fan but I fukk with him this battle, he was way less friendly than usual and had mad bars, rex is done, crowd was trying not to fukk with danny, dude came into a crowd that wanted him to lose and clearly bodied rex, he should get some credit

This is the response I was looking for. They were looking to boo this dude but he didn't let them. If they weren't biased the battle would have been a lot different to watch. This is how is supposed to look when the crowd that doesn't fukk with you can't get a reason to trash your performance. He made T Rex beg for a time call. Salute Danny.

I know the battle is over, but theres no real closure here. Myers cant let this slide. He needs to get his self respect back. He also needs his wife to respect him as a man. His crew too.

That's too many people who are too important losing respect for him.

I think his personal business was already out there because she got into battle rap and everyone was saying that he ghostwrote for her. I don't know about that KG shyt. But yeah, I never get how them two can battle as a couple and have all them damn kids. And on top of that, Danny had 12 racks around for Rex, too. He either flips houses or he work at Casinos that much sicne he goes out to Vegas often aside from battling on AHAT. I dunno.....

This battle was disappointing as all hell b...

Ever since that Clips battle, every verse I've heard Rex spit just sounds like a filler ass mixtape verse. Not to mention that the crowd was trying so hard to root for Rex and boo Danny Myers, but Myers wasn't all for that shyt.

Danny Myers won IMO, basically sealed it for me after Rex started begging SMACK and NuNu Nellz to cut Danny Myers' 2nd round short (if you watched the Rex/Cortez battle, damn near the SAME shyt) and all of the little kiddie ass antics Rex was pulling during Danny Myers' rounds and the antics before the battle like it being pushed back, etc etc.
