For Roc I'm not surprised. He had the Arsonal battle right before and obviously that had to be a higher priority for him, as you can tell by the performances. I'm more disappointed in Rum because hes been killing shyt all year and has been chasing this battle, plus had the fan momentum (possibly I only think that because I spend so much time in here).

People were calling for Rum/Rock after the Ave battle but he had to face Clips and Will. I always feel like if there's a main event type battle it should happen ASAP with no battles in between. You're bound to lose steam having two battles before the big one.

I think people take their foot off the gas for Rock because he's not bar heavy. You can't tell me Rum prepared for him the same way he did for Ave.

This is where people start to turn on Roc.

And rightfully so. The Jay Blacc shyt was dumb obviously (talking about Ima need a rematch), but this dumb ass nikka talking about he did us fans a favor by not ducking the battle. That's some delusional stupid ass shyt. clown picked up a check and battled a dude who everyone in the industry felt like was a natural matchup for him and he wants people to genuflect for that. And when you combine that with this weirdo Surf heel turn this dude is on and the declining performances (imo), some of that shine is bound to wear off.

I'm a Roc fan and I can't think of the last time I watched a Roc solo performance and didn't think it was mediocre to light. I guess C3. Meanwhile his DNA performance was ass, he lost to John John, he was mediocre against Brizz, mediocre against Surf, mediocre against Arsonal, light against Rum, decent against Calicoe etc. These vets around him are so terrible and so unprepared that just by virtue of him coming with three rounds and not choking it's obscuring the fact that bro has been jotting down questionable shyt on that paper for a minute now.
