The Traps of Unified Korea
Switched to PPV too early.

Never should've taken it off Youtube
YouTube rule changes means their content can't be monetized. That's why all creators went to other platforms. Battle raps problem is that there aren't enough people worth paying for, and not enough people willing to pay for them. It's a niche market that the wild days of YouTube allowed to flourish - but battle rap is and will be underground always for a reason.

They wouldnt get Adsense, but there would've been other ways to monetize off the traffic. Once they left YouTube and did the App alot of casuals (such as myself) paid less attention.

I used to binge the content on YouTube and got exposed to new rappers from there. Sometimes I would catch the live ppv, other times I'd have to find a trash bootleg link.

They jumped too early

Even if they were still getting Millions of views on Youtube (which they really aren't doing anymore), the Youtube monetization isn't enough to pay the battlers what they used to.

rappers would've got paid less, but they would've had more exposure to get $ elsewhere. Look at Hoffa, he ran to Youtube and started a huge brand.

DNA and AyeVerb on YouTube streaming everyday just to keep their name out there...If you put a gun to my head and told me to name the new battlers, I couldn't do it bc im not on the app. How the culture gonna grow if everything is behind a paywall?
