Except Lana's very existence is dependent on Rusev, she has no promo skills, and zero personality. Just looks. Rusev is great in the ring and can turn chicken sh_t into chicken salad, but his gimmick limits him. US Championship went back to not meaning anything (that's more booking than anything).

Maryse has personality, promo skills (she can actually get heat without the stupid Anti-American bullsh_t), and has personality. She has more purpose than Lana at the moment. The Miz is safe style and his promo skills are bar none, you can't teach that. His gimmick has levels to it. His resume looks better too. I can admit him having the IC Championship looks important right now.

i don't think these attacks on Ambrose are random...i think management is giving him the Carlito treatment, feeling he can do a lot more than what he's been doing and is just lazy.

to me it seems like they're giving him the bare minimum for turning chicken shyt into chicken salad.

Call me naive or whatever, but I would be surprised if these promos are so off the cuff because Cena and Ambrose got heat with each other backstage and they legit don't like each other. There's many times where real life situations backstage turned real in the ring.

Dude seems like he never sleeps the amount of stuff he does, whether it's WWE, Make-A-Wish, TV shows, promotions, movies...

But I guess compared to uploading Chilean Cheekbone Chompers #87 it's no work ethic at all

He's making the same point Cena attempted to make on Dean. Dean talks about how he carries the company, well Cena said he is fairly compensated for that. Well R=G is saying the same thing about Cena. Cena is VERY WELL compensated for all the work he does. Its not like he's doing it in his spare time. And keeping it real, he'd RATHER be doing all that work then being at home with Nikki begging him for kids every damn day.

Lana carried Rusev for almost a year..she was handing out ETHER on that mic.

What's wrong with that? Cena would be a fool if he didn't take the opportunity to do a lot more than pro-wrestling. Pro-wrestling is short term in life or should be and Cena understands this. He's no spring chicken and setting up for the next phase in his life if something goes wrong where he has to retire permanently. I'm far from being Cena's cheerleader, but one thing you can't deny is his work ethic. How many guys are willing to be the top guy AND do all that he does. Not very many. It's one of the reasons why CM Punk can bytch all he wants to when he had the championship, but he wasn't willing to do all that Cena does.

He's not just thinking like a pro-wrestler, but as a businessman as well.

Cena wouldn't be any of this shyt if McMahon didn't have him squash several names to be put on this pedestal. He just isn't a LEGIT top star. He was in 2005...the fans put him in that top spot but when they turned on him, the WWE created a gimmick of the split chants being acceptable and they got cute about it. It's the biggest spin they've ever done next to the "Bret screwed Bret" line after Survivor Series 97.
