Dean Ambrose is out to kick off Smackdown and plug his involvement in the Payback main event. He’s cut off by former Shield teammate Roman Reigns. Eventually Kane comes out and the babyfaces get their jabs in on him. Kane books Ambrose in a match to start the show.
(1) Dean Ambrose def. Sheamus.
-Kane and Seth Rollins get into an argument backstage, as per usual, so Kane books Rollins vs. Ryback for later tonight.
-Rusev and Lana came out. As expected Lana was super over and Rusev wasn’t happy about it. He made Lana apologize for the way she’s been behaving, for playing to the crowd and doing the Fandango dance.
-Seth Rollins comes out and complains about his match. Ryback is out, but Bray Wyatt attacks him from behind. They delay a bit and Rollins is happy because he demands to be made the winner via forfeit, but Ryback manages to answer the call and we’re going to have a match.
(2) Seth Rollins def. Ryback.

(3) Tyson Kidd def. Kofi Kingston. Cesaro and the rest of the New Day was out there as well, as both teams had some pre-match promos.
-Bo Dallas comes out instead of Daniel Bryan, after they advertising an update on Bryan’s condition. Not sure whether that was just for the live crowd to build heat on Bo, but that’s what happened.
(4) Neville def. Bo Dallas. King Barrett was on commentary. You would assume both these guys have a good shot at being in the Elimination Chamber.

(5) Roman Reigns def. Kane. There was No DQ in this match, and there had to be a winner via pinfall or submission. They got some weapons involved, and eventually Reigns speared Kane for the win.
