Walked away from the main event and big NJPW money to work in NXT as Finn Balor.
If they really fukk up with Devitt, Itami, Steen, etc (and there's no reason to think that they won't) this should be a giant red flag to all top indy and international talent that if you're already making good money, just stay where you are unless you really feel you need to put WWE on your resume.

Well yeah, but that's besides the point.
Every guy who is in developmental gets to choose his new name. If they can't come up with a good one, then they choose one from a list. Why in the flying fukk would Devitt see Finn Balor and go "
yup, that willl do"?? Even if he liked Balor, change the name to something worthwhile for gods sake 
I didn't know they got to choose their own name. I thought it was assigned to them. But, hey, if he thinks Finn Balor will work for him, let him run with it.
