Cheating is rife at american universities. Continuous assessment means that others can do work for the student. Plus the lecturers do not blind mark i.e. they know who they are marking, which leads to bias, favouritism and/or bribery.

If you just need to pass, rather than excel, with the right backing you can get through ivy league institutions without being that smart.

At somewhere like oxford traditionally in parts IIRC you would have two exams only. One at the end of the first year which would determine if you were keeping up and finals, in which you would be tested on everything you had learned during the course. Then those exams would be blind marked by people who had no idea who you were.

He probably is “smart” enough to actually think or care about what he does if he gave a fukk about anything other than being a dikkhead and getting applause. Can’t wait til he’s gone.
