While grammar isn't the end all-be all when it comes to gauging intelligence it definitely makes you sound dumb when you don't know basic words and how to properly use them in a sentence. Furthermore, going by what you just told me I'll take a wild guess and say that you have some form of higher education (post High School), in which case not knowing how to write is twice as bad in your case because you were actually taught.

As long as your point gets across it shouldn't really matter...Just saying. Also Albert Einstein didn't know how to tie his shoes yet his education was definietly post High School. Like I said education measures different things.

To be honest you may have more common sense and street smarts than me. While me...I'm more of a history nut.

All I'm saying is that out of the thousands of members here, some of which are 30+ years old, it's kind of arrogant to claim that you should be on a list of 6 people. To be honest, I don't think any of the posters on the list are the smartest ones on the board. There are people here that run businesses, have serious college degrees, make 6+ figures, and are even semi-famous - they just tend to fly below the radar a lot of the time.
