I just bought a switch and smash bros last week. So far, I don't like it. Theres too many ways too die if you keep the items on. Seems like inorder to smash your oppenenrs out of the stage, you will have to rely on them itemes heavily.

Haven't you ever played smash before, genuinely question? imo, the only way to play it is with items on which makes it inherently different to pretty much every other fighting game.

balancing the items with your specials is part it for better or worse. some people do no weapons or like levels with tricks which is lame imo, play a better fighting game for shyt like that

You can set items off or make them appear less frequently in the settings.
