Well sports writers were out to get Bonds and A-Rod WELL before there were any PED accusations.

For Bonds is was because he was stand offish with the media throughout his career.

With A-Rod it's supposedly because he comes across as a "Phony" but I the hate for him didn't start up till he got that huge contract with the Rangers, once he got the huge contract with the Yankees it just got amplified.

No one has or will get it worse than Bonds. He treated the media like shyt and they took the opportunity to get their revenge. I'm not dismissing the racial aspect of the Bonds vitriol, but there is more to that story.

And I don't think ARod is getting any worse than either Braun or Clemens. Braun has been eviscerated in the past 2 weeks, I don't see the leniency.

Maybe Braun, I dont fukk with baseball anymore, but Clemens is/was always a fukking dirtbag scum fukk. I never really saw anything where people were letting him off the hook or anything like that, but prolly because I hate that mutha fukker anyway. Big Mac I will give you though, he should have been villified just as bad if not worse than Bonds.
