You used to be a conservative you gotta elaborate on that one. How'd you get into that mindset and what made you change your mind?


I've been at Republicans and conservatism since high school when they were trying to convince me to sign up to go to Iraq and shyt.

It's a long story, but here's the short version:

It had to do with a church I used to attend. I felt that my identity as a Christian was more important than my identity as a Black man.

Then Ferguson happened (Ferguson/North County St. Louis is my hood), and then a bunch of police-instigated shootings happened (chiefly the Philando Castile case--there was NO WAY that could be justified, but I heard the same bullsh*t justification).

Then they started supporting Trump, who has always been a buffoon to me, and called him God's chosen.

I got my NWUC (nikka Wake-Up Call), checked completely out after that. After feeling despondent, I re-read MLK's "Birmingham Jail" letter, and it helped me to realize I was being sold a version of right-wing conservatism under the guise of profound spirituality.

Lost most of my friends and my [Black] wife over that sh*t.

I think it is dumb for people to do that. I try no to engage in that stuff.

The main difference is when the black people with foreign flags make disparaging remarks about black/ADOS people (esp black men), the communities where these non-ADOS folks come from don't call them out (not to the degree that we have ostracized our homegrown c00ns). They feel real comfortable talking their bullshyt.

A lot of the times, these communities are really small and dont represent said people and the people in their home country dont really have the time or interest to engage in these. Its not that black and white. They're more concern with things going on in their countries.
I've posted on here, posts and saved images of ppl from the virgin islands, denouncing and shyting on Candace Owens. We dont claim her.

I thinks its all goofy and should be judged on a individual basis for the most part whether Caribbean, Ados, African etc..
