This is sad but I believe this. I used to get made fun of for having thick, long, "nappy" natural hair by my peers as a kid. As an adult, I'm hearing that natural hair is "wack" and weaves are a symbol of status and beauty. I saw someone post this photo on twitter along with just the phrase "smh" to go along with it, and I couldn't figure out what she was 'smh" at until I saw it posted on another site talking about Blue's hair; I would've never have noticed her hair until someone else pointed it out, since I don't think there is anything wrong with it.
