yep, back when I used to go to king, NE was mostly blacks and hispanics. Wasnt no farmers market being done on alberta, used to be you had to come home before dark cus all kinds of fukkery would happen. Even off Killingsworth, there was hella black owned businesses. Now thats gone because of gentrification

out by Irvington Park, there used to be a barber shop that everyone used to go to, a Hollywood video & a laundry mat. Now its a bunch of CAC spots like a pet shop, computer repair shop, and Papa Murphies.

it still depends on what part of killingsworth you live on. The closer you are to Jeff, the more fukkery you see.

Cus you have about 4 Different hoods that try to claim that area. Hoover, Kerby Blocc, Rollin 60s, and Woodlawn.

Unthank also got a spot close to SEI which aint that far either, so theres a lot of tension in that area

I work in Portland off Barnes Road. In fact im at work right now. thank god we are near st Vincent's,where a lot of cops patrol.

They said 15 people killed that month was the highest in 30 years. Chicago just recently had more than that in a single weekend.

Chicago is not a safe place to live people.

Uhhhh yea Chicago has close to 3 million people.


and I’m sure the fact that this happens in mostly black and brown hoods helps Portland’s case since it’s a cac city.

You must not know Portland history

Portland been a hotspot since the 80s. Cali nikkas like the Hoovers & Rollin 60s were out in portland in full force funkin with the local gangs during the crack era




Then you had the whole lil Smurf thing that popped off in the 90s which ended up having a bunch of bay area nikkas slide through Portland and air shyt out for months straight.


They made a documentary about that back in the mid 2000s

shyt was mostly just tit 4 tat between hoovers, Rollins, & some of the homegrown hoods during the early & mid 2000s Then GDs tried pushing into Portland around 07/08. First time I ever heard of a Gangster Disciple was around that time

Then Gangland did a video out here & once that gangland video got put out, situation went dirty.



nikkas got popped daily up til about 2015 when shyt died down. Most of the shooters got locked up.
