Ran into this interview on these dudes with DJ Nasty talking about the Ja Rule situation if you are interested. It is 33 minutes though. Short story, DJ Nasty feels a kind of way that Ja Rule lied and made it seem like he sold the beat twice and also that Ja's song hurt their song at pop radio. He feels Ja Rule ripped his song off from the beat to the melody to the chorus.

Album was garbage. Ja may have ripped the song off but I don't believe they came up with it either. It was too random.

i remember that song. it came out during the cupcake era of rap. those two would've never made it in the golden era of 92-97
