They can't admit that SAS is right about this one in regards to everyone still supporting it and these blogs like Deadspin know that SAS is click bait so they keep fanning the story. Like some said before, Cari is going to the fight, FT is going to be there starting Wednesday and I think doing the Monday after the fight in Vegas. Same with Jemele, her and Mike Smith did that "Coming to America" barbershop spoof, which they are getting alot of praise for, about Mayweather vs Pac. So she getting good press of of the fight also. I'm sure ESPN would allow them to sit out the Mayweather coverage if they really had a problem with it and ESPN is allowing them to express their displeasure even though its a big deal for ESPN. I think Cari realizes SAS is right by the look of her face when that segment finished:mjlol:

The issue is that there is a double standard when it comes to domestic violence. When a man hits a woman, he is consider the lowest of lows. When a woman hits a man, it is consider acceptable because women in general are emotional and weak. Nobody should be hitting each other period unless your life is at stake. People should be able to talk things out or just walk away until cool heads prevail. Today's society gives women too much leeway with regards to certain issues and it cause resentment with some men. No man should have to hit a woman out of anger period. At the same time, some of these women need to keep their egos in check and stop being very disrespectful at times. Respect should be done by both parties.

If she didn't want to cover this she wouldn't be forced to especially since DV is the new hot button issue, you think they would deny her if she requested to be excused from this fight?

As I said in another thread, these reporters aren't interested in DV or helping black women. It's a reason to justify their rage and hatred for Floyd. Ask any of these journalists when's the last time they've volunteered or donated to a woman's shelter lol. You all have personal business and misgivings, and im sure you all don't go to work apologizing all day, talking about your legal situations. Don't get fooled into thinking these people really care about women being abused.

Cari Champion is a joke.

I'm just sick of people pick and choosing who to be mad at when it comes to this. There are a TON of Hollywood celebrities who have been accused/found guilty of the same thing, yet their issues are never brought up every time they have a movie coming out. No one says boycott their movies, take money out of their pockets. But when it comes to Floyd, as soon as a fight is announced you already know what the deal is.

If Cari is REALLY about that "do what's right for ourselves" she would excuse herself from the fight. First Take doesn't run on her, she won't be missed. Lol. And then she won't have to be such a hypocrite to support a fight and profit off of it while also feeling people shouldn't watch it.
