Dude hasn't declined to me so I don't know who is saying that. Saw the 62 pt game in 3 quarters again last night and he looks the same to me. Its modern health, doctors, nutrition, and determination that keeps guys like Nash and Kobe playing at a high level. Even Dirk is looking back to his old self since coming back from injury.
He's not the same. He's not nearly as explosive, less energy over the course of a game, and can't play hard on both ends for whole games. His skills have made up a lot if the deficit but the Lakers wouldn't have a losing record with '06 Kobe.
