When you're a drug dealer people will think they can get over on you if you let someone off the hook. This is why they will chase you down if you're even a dollar short. nikkas think street dudes are too violent but they gotta be that way or noone will pay them. It's the reason I stopped selling drugs knew it was a matter of time before I clapped somebody it's a trap to get you in prison or the grave black man.

Rent in LA area was about 500-600 a month , prob even lower in other areas in early 90s.
